ABOUT
ABOUT TOP DOG TRAINING
Have you wondered why your dog only listens to you when you have food or a toy? Have you corrected a dog for an undesirable behavior and it still doesn’t seem to go away? Are your corrections getting firmer and your dog’s behavior getting poorer? These are some of the issues that develop without having a clear communication system.
At Top Dog Training we focus on building an ever-lasting bond and set you up to a clear path of success. We teach you the learning theory, how to become a natural leader, and how to establish a clear communication system. Through this process you will create a profound connection with your dog, live in harmony and be successful together. You will be training your dog and not the other way around.
As the saying goes “The proof is in the pudding”, before hiring us see the relationship between our trainer and his dog and you’ll see the quality and effectiveness of our system in place.
ABOUT OUR TRAINER, MITS
Mits is a passionate and enthusiastic dog trainer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. His love of dogs stems from when he got his first German Shepherd Dog, Chefi, in 2006 in London, UK. Chefi had been passed through different homes and had developed behavioral issues when Mits adopted her. He spent several years educating himself and developing a system of clear communication through natural leadership to help Chefi, who became an integral part of the family and his best friend.
While working as a Police Officer in London, Mits continued to develop his skills and help clients achieve balance to resolve behavioral and training issues in dogs. Over the last 14 years Mits has trained many different breeds of pet, sport, and police dogs.
Finally, in 2019, Mits left his full time career in finance to open Top Dog Training and now enjoys fulfilling his passion for dogs by getting to work with them every day. Committed to providing the most effective, convenient solutions to his clients’ dog training needs, Mits avidly pursues ongoing continuing education and professional development. When not helping clients to enjoy easier lives with their canine companions, Mits competes in IGP dog sport with his own German Shepherd Dog, Gio.
